The Story is from a small village in Sivsagar namely Mogorahat , Assam, India. Mogorahat, situated in the Gaurisagar Tehsil of the Sivasagar District, is approximately 22 kilometers west of the district headquarters.
A young man Mr Deep Baruah resides in that village Mogorahat sivsagar. He takes pride in his profession as a farmer. 10 Years ago, he initiated the cultivation of one of the world’s spiciest chili peppers, the Bhut Jolokia, with a mere Rs. 4,000 as his capital.
Deep Baruah has set an exemplary standard for self-reliance by cultivating the Bhut Jolokia pepper. Furthermore, he established Jerenga Nursery, which offers readily available Bhut Jolokia saplings to interested individuals.
Not only does he pursue his own passion, but he also facilitates the growth of others. He provides training to farmers in diverse regions of the state of Assam and Northeast.
